Opportunities for You
Making Music offers a wide range of training and support opportunities designed to help our members be as effective as possible in their activities, whether artistic or administrative.

Opportunities include applying for funding, commissioning new music, taking part in national initiatives such as the Listen Up! National Festival of Orchestras or Adopt-a-composer scheme, or national and regional training programmes to help groups with their marketing, fundraising and project development.

In this growing area of our work, members are encouraged to look to the future, both in terms of responding to the needs of the community in which they are situated, and of meeting the needs of their members, past, present and future.

For further details of the many opportunities currently offered by Making Music follow the links opposite.

Funding opportunities are available through Making Music, the Lotteries, Trusts & Foundations.   Send in details of special activities or projects you have undertaken that would make good radio features on behalf of amateur music.
