Established in 1961, the Award for Young Concert Artists has helped to launch the careers of many young musicians. The award enables young musicians at the start of their career to gain vital concert and recital experience across the UK.

Cash Boost for Amateur Music in the North East
|

Music making across the North East and Yorkshire this month received a boost with the award of almost £4000 from the Awards for All lottery fund.
The money, awarded to the umbrella group Making Music, will go towards subsidising training and offering project opportunities to voluntary music groups and community musicians across the region in 2008. | December 2007
