Form a Folk Band! | SAE Institute, Littlemore | Oxford
Sunday 26 September and 5 subsequent workshops
Cost: £70 adults, £50 conc - for 6 workshops + extras
A course of 6 workshops in autumn 2010, bringing together musicians to form folk bands. Including all instruments and voices looking at playing for dancing as well as for concert performance situations. Facilitated by Cat Kelly, with 6 special guest tutors including Paul Sartin, Jim Moray, Will Pound, and Pete Flood. The course includes the chance to record tracks at SAE, plus the opportunity to play at the Oxford Folk Festival 2011!

Admission: Free.
The Big Busk will bring public spaces alive with live music and dance. Local voluntary groups will perform at this free, fun event to passers by and shoppers. The performances will be interspersed with free drop-in workshops in music and dance for all members of the public to try out music and dance, regardless of their age, ability or experience.
