Regional Development Officers
Making Music currently has eleven part-time Regional Development Officers and one Audience Development Officer. These Officers are a support and a resource for our many member groups and for the local Making Music Committee. They are able to offer advice about the services Making Music provides to members and prospective members. They assess the developmental needs of their area and plan workshops and training events in their area to fulfill these requirements. They run information and "Question and Answer" seminars for those within and beyond Making Music.

Additionally our staff perform an invaluable function raising the profile of Making Music with other key public authorities, arts or music organisations in their area.

Our team consequently meets with representatives from the relevant Arts Board/Council, local authority arts officers and representatives of other agencies to discuss local issues and to look for ways in which Making Music can become more involved with arts activities in the area.
