Association of Teachers of Singing (AOTOS) |
| |
AOTOS is an association specifically concerned with the needs and demands of all professionals involved in the training of the singing voice. |
| |
AOTOS members come from many different vocal backgrounds. Some have or have had performing careers, others have concentrated on research and education. AOTOS welcomes all those concerned with teaching singing to students of all ages and standards, professional and amateur.
They have three conferences a year: two one-day conferences and a residential three-day event elsewhere. AOTOS also runs an annual residential Teacher Training Course in the summer aimed both at those who are beginning to teach and also at those who are looking to consolidate their skills. AOTOS has a wide membership, and therefore provides a vital forum for singing teachers in the broadest sense. |
