The Philip & Dorothy Green Award for Young Concert Artists
We're delighted to invite applications for the 2009 awards!
The Award enables young musicians at the start of their career to gain vital concert and recital experience across the UK. The scheme also allows Making Music member groups to tap into some of the very best young musical talent to programme into their concert season.

Artists listed here can be engaged by any member group of Making Music. There are a limited number of subsidised bookings - click on the 'How to book' link at the bottom of the page to find out more.

In 2002 the Philip and Dorothy Green Music Trust secured the future of the AYCA with the largest single donation Making Music has received in its 65 year history.

Since 1961 it has helped to launch the careers of scores of young musicians.

How to Apply
Awards comprise a number of performing engagements (concertos and recitals) with Making Music member groups around the UK.

Applications are invited from EU and British Commonwealth citizens, closing date 9 January 2009. Auditions will take place at the Royal Academy between 9-13 February 2009.
