Cat Duval, South East Regional ManagerCatherine (Cat) Duval kick starts her work with Making Music in the New Year as South East Regional Manager. She is keen to apply her skills to help volunteers and members in the South East thrive in the year ahead and beyond. Cat has a passion for community cohesion through music, creative events and voluntary arts projects. Since graduating in 2002 she has set up community radio station Radio Reverb in Brighton, designed creative team building events for corporate clients across the UK with The Brilliant Company, managed volunteer recruitment and delivered anti-knife-crime film project with 16-25 year olds with BTCV in London, set up music production course with the YMCA and New Zealand School of Rock and most recently project managed ten street art projects in Wellington New Zealand with the local council and specialist youth providers.

Based in Brighton, Cat is on hand to provide support and advice to members about funding, opportunities for collaboration, community development projects and about the wealth of resources which Making Music can offer to local groups and musicians. Cat is looking forward to working with the Making Music community to further develop voluntary music making in the South East, build networks and advocate music for wellbeing throughout the region.
