Information and advice event (Luton): Arts Council England Grants for the Arts workshop

Come and meet staff from Arts Council England, and find out more about their Grants for the Arts funding scheme.

Sue Hughes from ACE will have plenty of advice on what they are looking for in an application and how funding decisions are made. There’s also an opportunity to discuss any ideas you may have for projects, and to find out more about any alternative sources of funding.
 

We’ll talk about:

  • The structure and purpose of Grants for the Arts funding
  • How to put together a fundable project
  • What to talk about in your application
  • Anything else that arises on the topic!

Travel Information 

  • By train: there are frequent trains from London St Pancras and Bedford stopping at Luton Town Station. The library is only a few minutes walk from the station
  • By bus: most bus services stop outside the Galaxy Centre or in Library Road to the rear of the Mall shopping centre. The library is between the Mall and the Galaxy Centre
  • By car: from the M1 southbound take J11 and follow the A505 and signs towards Luton town centre. From the M1 northbound take J10 and follow signs towards Luton town centre. There is a small car park behind the Library opperated by the Mall shopping centre
