Every penny counts (online event)

Registration is closed for this event

About the event:

At a time where funding is increasingly hard to obtain, how can you maximise your group’s income in other areas? In this session, we’ll take a look at how you can find and bring together smaller income streams to help your group generate those extra pounds.

Making Music staff will share some top tips, and you’ll also spend some time in breakout rooms talking with other members about their experiences, issues and successes.

We’ll talk about:

  • Reviewing and maximising your subscription rates and ticket prices
  • Creating fundraising events for your group
  • How you can make money when your members shop online
  • Asking for donations and crowd funding
  • Sponsorship and advertising
  • Managing your spending
  • Anything else that comes up on the topic!

We will also give a brief overview on the topics of gift aid, orchestra tax relief and applying for grant funding, but these topics will be covered in greater depth at separate events - keep an eye on our events listings to find out when these are available to book.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions via the chat function during the event.
There will be a short break during the event.
