Mail: BBC Radio 3 is inviting choirs up and down the country to join in nationwide performances of Mendelssohn's 'O for the Wings of a Dove' (from the motet 'Hear My Prayer') from Friday 8 - Sunday 10 May 2009.

As part of a Radio 3 weekend devoted to the life and works of Felix Mendelssohn - one of
Radio 3's Composers of the Year 2009 - Radio 3 will link to any recordings of performances posted on your own websites, and also reflect a range of performances in special editions of
The Choir on 10 and 24 May.

Downloadable posters are available, so you can promote your own performances locally, and you can also send any related photos to be included in our online photo gallery.
