St Martin-in-the-Fields Chamber Music Competition
Making Music has partnered with the St Martin-in-the-Fields Chamber Music Competition in an exciting new initiative which will give Making Music member organisations the opportunity to book the winning ensemble for an exclusive fee, and the competition winners the opportunity to establish and develop a performance profile throughout the UK.
Piatti String Quartet
The inaugural winner of the competition is the Piatti String Quartet. Finalists in the 2009 Royal Overseas League competition and winners of the Tunnell Trust Award 2010/2011, the Piatti Quartet is fast emerging as the UK's leading young string ensemble. As part of the award, the quartet is offering twelve engagements with Making Music members for a preferential fee of £900 (compared with the quartet's regular fee of £1,500). To take advantage of this exclusive offer, complete and return the attached booking form or contact the Award Administrator.
The St Martin-in-the-Fields Chamber Music Competition embodies a commitment to the discovery, nurture and promotion of new and emerging musical talent and continues a long history of musical excellence and artistic contribution at the heart of London.
