How to Book Network Artists
The artists in the current Concert Promoters' Network are available for booking by any promoting group in membership of Making Music. It is also possible to book the artists if you are a promoter who is not a member of Making Music, but quoted fees may not apply. (You may like to find out more about becoming a Full or Associate member of Making Music to take full advantage of these special artists fees each year. Click here for full details.)

Artists for the next but one season are chosen in February and appear on this website in June.

The notes below will help promoters make the most of the Network.

- Choose an artist and speak to the contact indicating your interest in making a booking from the Concert Promoters' Network brochure.

- Either make a definite booking, or a provisional booking on the basis that the fee comes down to a particular level.

- The contact for the artists should inform you when the fee comes down to the next level. However it pays to check this before you sign a contract and in the period leading up to the concert.

- When you sign a contract with the contact person, we advise that you agree the fee to be: 'as determined by the number of bookings through the Concert Promoters' Network'. This is so you get the benefit of the sliding scale of fees.

- We should also be grateful if you would acknowledge the scheme in your annual brochure and programmes using the following wording: 'This concert has been made possible through the Making Music Concert Promoters' Network scheme.' and use the Making Music logo where possible. Download logo from here.

- The fees apply to the given concert season. Bookings outside that period should be negotiated without reference to the scheme.

- The 1-6 concert fee bracket does not include travel and this must be added.

- All fees assume that you will provide accommodation if necessary.

- VAT at current rate is included in the fees where appropriate, rounded to the nearest £5.
