Individual involvement
Making Music is all about getting involved, whether this is by joining a local music group, by joining one of our local voluntary committees or helping out at our offices in London.
If you are looking to join a local music group then Making Music can help you to find a group and put you in touch with one of our area committees. Click here for further details.

Our voluntary committees are vital to the work of Making Music. They organise local events for amateur musicians, visit member groups on a regular basis and provide advice and guidance on the opportunities available through Making Music. Members of the thirteen committees around the UK (ten in England and one each in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) contribute regularly to the work of Making Music and have a real responsibility for how the organisation develops.

If you would like to help other amateur musicians in your area then contact Evan Dawson.

In an environment as busy as our London office there are always opportunities to help out and support the work of full-time staff. If you live in Greater London and would like to help out occasionally, contact Sarah Rogers to become one of our occasional volunteers.

Finally, please also take a look at our Vacancies page.
