Evan Dawson, Head of Support and Development |

Evan is responsible for the fourteen part-time professional Making Music Regional Development Officers based in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the English regions.
He also provides support and advice to all the 13 voluntary Making Music Committees.
Evan joined Making Music in March 2005, having previously worked as a solicitor at media law firm Mishcon de Reya. He has also been Director of Music at University College London since 1998, and a children's workshop leader at Pembroke Academy of Music.
He is a keen saxophonist, pianist, conductor and composer, having trained at the Guildhall School of Music. He regularly performs with his jazz band The C-Jam Quartet. He writes soundtrack music for various film and television projects, drawing on as much live music as possible, with Dawson-Sabatini.
Evan speaks Welsh, plays rugby, and makes cakes. |
