Alice Little, South East
Based in Oxford, Alice joined Making Music in 2008. With an academic background in history and material anthropology Alice previously worked in the museums sector, and was Assistant Curator of Musical Instruments at the Horniman Museum.

Alice is a prolific musician and music teacher, with interests in both classical and folk music. She plays piano, recorders and violin and performs regularly with several ensembles, including a piano quintet and a ceilidh band. Alice also manages Oxford Folk Tutors, a teachers' collective co-ordinating services in the local area.

At Making Music Alice is working closely with the regional committee to pursue the 'Five Years Five Aims' agenda. She hopes particularly to increase opportunities for regional networking and partnerships, and to offer new training events, as well as enhancing the diversity of member groups in the region.

Alice is always keen to hear from voluntary music groups in the South East, so if you have any questions, or simply want to find out more about Making Music, do get in touch!
