Regional Development Officers
Sally Smith, North West
Sally is based in Bolton and joined Making Music in May 2007. Having previously worked for Burnley Youth Theatre and the Harris Museum and Art Gallery in Preston, she brings knowledge and experience of the highs and lows of arts fundraising and has skills in marketing, web development and new media.

She is thoroughly enjoying meeting members and learning about the vast array of musical groups and activities in the North West. As well as being available to provide general advice to members she will be offering increased regional communications and resources, networking opportunities and training events.

Sally plays the tenor saxophone and is currently trying to teach her 8 year old son Jack to play alto sax - which took a step back when his two front teeth fell out! Sally also lends a musical hand at his local primary school. Although she can't confess to playing sax quite as well as some of her Making Music Office colleagues, she does share the all important love and enthusiasm for voluntary music making.

Please get in touch to share your thoughts, experiences and concerns, to shout about what you're up to or just to say hello!
