After six years as Making Music's Training and development Officer in the North East, Anne now acts as supervisor for the Team across the north and east of England.
The work includes phone supervision sessions with Regional Development Officers in six regions every 4 - 6 weeks. Anne conducts an annual appraisal and agrees staff development targets with each officer.
She is also able to offer informal advice and support to the RDO Team. She attends and contributes to the quarterly team meetings and works closely with the Head of Support & Development, Evan Dawson, which gives her a good overview of Making Music's Regional Development programme across the UK.
Anne is also the Song Manager of 20,000 Voices, an organisation which supports, promotes and develops singing across Northumberland and the north east. She has worked with many nationally known vocal leaders, and is a passionate believer that everyone can sing, given the right opportunity. She directs two community choirs, and sings with two chamber choirs. She is also an amateur recorder player.
