| Making Music has teamed up with Choir of the Year and the British Association of Barbershop Singers (BABS) to offer six choirs the chance to run a six-week singing course for their community. A series of Learn to Sing courses kick started end of January and attracted over 100 participants.

| Classic FM The Full Works | Southbank Centre Events: Making Music Series | |||||
| We have an amazing opportunity for your instrumental group to be heard all around the UK on Classic FM's the Full Works! We are interested in any recordings, from small intimate chamber pieces through to large-scale works, from any period. Deadline for application and recording submission is 29 March 2010. Read on to find out more. | Ten member groups are performing at the Southbank Centre (SBC) as part of the Making Music Series within its season-long Bernstein Project, thanks to a new partnership with one of London's leading arts venues. SBC Head of Music Marshall Marcus is very keen to open up the Southbank's spaces and programming to more voluntary music groups ... so watch this space!
