Thank you for considering making a donation to Making Music.
Did you know that public funds account for only around 20% of Making Music's income each year. As a charity, we rely on the generosity of individuals, trusts and foundations and our members' subscriptions.
Your support can:
- Help Making Music members put on an average of 8,000 concerts in a typical year, or nearly 160 a week.
- Help develop Making Music's members' profiles in the communities within which they perform so encouraging more people to participate in live music making
- Promote Making Music's work in the area of social inclusion to encourage disadvantaged individuals and communities to access and benefit from the cultural opportunities available to them. And more!

Donate with Gift Aid
Yes, I would like Making Music to claim Gift Aid on my donation This donation is a personal donation and I am a UK taxpayer.
This means the Government will give Making Music an extra 28%. All you need to do is pay enough UK tax this year (April 2009 to April 2010) to cover the 28% we will claim. Find out more about Gift Aid on the HMRC website

Giving a little every month will make a difference to the quality and quantity of live music experienced throughout communities across the UK.
£5 a month will help a young musician's first steps on the professional circuit as part of our Awards Programme.
Through the Philip and Dorothy Green Award for Young Artists I was booked to perform throughout the UK, visiting so many different areas and learning the ropes as a professional musician. The tours have helped me learn the essentials needed for a long performing career and I have made many useful contacts and wonderful friends for the years ahead.

£30 a month will provide training to enable local music groups to work with elderly people in their resource centres.
The new songs are great. It makes me feel different altogether. I usually feel shut in a box and don't get out at all. I don't ask for much, but this has been really good. You sing, and you're doing something of your own - it's you.
Participant at a Making Music health and music project, 2007.
LEAVE A LEGACY
Including Making Music in your will ensures your support of live music lives on.
Leaving a legacy is simple and inexpensive. After providing for friends and family some people choose to leave the residue of their estate while others choose to endow an Award or Bursary.
