Born in Hertfordshire, she studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and then attended the National Opera Studio supported by Glyndebourne, the Kathleen Trust, John Wates and the Nichol-Young Foundation. Stephanie continues her studies with Rudolf Piernay and John Evans.

She was a prize winner in the Clonter Opera Prize and the Towyn Roberts National Eisteddfod in 2004, received the Erich Vietheer Memorial Award from Glyndebourne and was a recipient of a Susan Chilcott Scholarship in 2005 and most recently a finalist in the 2006 Emmy Destinn and 2007 Veronica Dunne singing competitions.

Stephanie has performed Musetta La Boheme for Scottish Opera on Tour, Assassin Tangier Tattoo for Glyndebourne Touring Opera, Fiordiligi Cosi fan Tutte for Opera by Definition and multiple roles in contemporary opera company Tete-a-Tete's latest work, Blind Date, as well as performances at the Glyndebourne Festival, while covering, of Pamina Die Zauberflote, where she made her festival debut, and Marzelline Fidelio.

Other recent roles include, Nedda I Pagliacci, Leila Les Pecheurs des Perles, Donna Elvira Don Giovanni, Cendrillon, Cendrillon, Tina Flight (NOS scenes), Aminta (cover) Il Re Pastore (Garsington), Fiordiligi (cover) Cosí fan tutte (Glyndebourne on Tour), the Countess in the world premier of Rochester's Second Bottle by Hans Kox and Lusya in Paradise Moscow by Shostakovich (RWCMD).

Other highlights include opera galas at the Barbican Hall, St David's Hall, Fairfield Halls and soprano soloist in Vaughan Williams Sea Symphony at Snape Maltings.

Future plans include Inez Trovatore, Opera Holland Park, Countess Almaviva Le Nozze di Figaro, Iford Opera, Hanna Glawari The Merry Widow for Scottish Opera and a number of Raymond Gubbay concerts at the Albert Hall, Manchester Evening News Arena and Birmingham Indoor arena.
