Making Music's Conference and AGM 2010

Date: Saturday 11 September
Venue: St George's, Bristol

Join us at our 75th birthday conference, which will be held at one of Britain's leading concert halls, St George's.

Running from 11am (following our AGM at 10am), we will be launching our new organisational plan and new website, and focusing on all things digital - from demystifying social media to online marketing and selling tickets, all aimed at encouraging our members to get the most out of digital tools and resources to develop the ways in which they communicate with audiences and each other and raise the profile of what they do.

There will be a mixture of presentations and workshops, so bring along a project for advice from our team of experts, including: Karen Cardy, Making Music's Marketing Director and Head of Marketing at the LSO; Jo Johnson, Digital Marketing Manager at the LSO; Heidi Mace, social media specialist from Arts Admin; and Steven Endersby from WeGotTickets.

There will be a vocal workshop featuring our prize-winning song, and a networking session for concert promoters. We will also be celebrating our birthday and the start of the 50th anniversary season of the Award for Young Concert Artists with a drinks reception, early evening gala concert featuring alumni from the scheme and a buffet supper, so we hope you will join us for a packed day.
