Flautissimo the Southampton Flute Orchestra: a friendly and enthusiastic group of flautists of all ages that meets weekly during term time. We play piccolos, concert, alto and bass flutes.

Rehearsal information:
Rehearsals take place on Friday evenings between 6.45pm and 8.45pm in the hall of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Portswood. Rehearsals run during school term time and new members are welcome at any point in the year. Subscriptions are £25 per term (come along and try us for free first) with three terms in a year.

New flautists are always wanted, anyone of Grade 5+ standard is warmly welcome to join the flute choir. If you enjoy playing the flute, learning about the flute or talking about the flute then Flautissimo is the place for you!
For those who love their flutes, but are unable to commit to weekly rehearsals, you can also come along to regular flute weekends at Winchester Cathedral with leading performers, teachers and composers such as Ian Clarke, Clare Southworth and Paul Edmund-Davies.
