As of 1 July 2011 the Making Music West Midlands and North West regions merged to form Making Music West, which supports groups in Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside, Herefordshire, Shropshire (and Telford & Wrekin), Staffordshire (and Stoke-on Trent), Warwickshire, Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Solihull, Wolverhampton, Walsall and Sandwell and Worcestershire.
Making Music West is now concluding its period of administrative transition with the appointment of Regional Manager Stuart Isaac. Thanks go to Anne Shepherd who has been the voluntary Regional Leader for many months. Thanks also to Micaela Schmitz, previously regional Development Officer for the West Midlands and more recently Transition Manager for the West region.Stuart will be working closely with Micaela and Anne until the end of 2011 to ensure continuity as the regional team develops.
