Grimsby Philharmonic SocietyAt Making Music Yorkshire & North East, we thrive on encouraging all kinds of voluntary music groups – bands, festivals, orchestras, music clubs, choirs – and individuals, to be part of our vibrant multi-cultural music scene.

From South Yorkshire, North and North East Lincolnshire and Hull, through the Pennines to Huddersfield and Halifax – to the Dales and Skipton, on to County Durham, Tees Valley, Newcastle and Northumberland, our members come to us for the expert help they need to set up, run and develop music groups in their communities.

Being there for our members, in person, on the phone or online is vital. Our dedicated team of volunteers is based throughout the region, and is led by Regional Manager Sue Bradley, to help members with local funding applications, advise on audience development, and put people in touch with their local music community.

We're currently on the lookout for keen people to join our team of volunteers. If you are able to commit a few hours each week to helping develop music making in the region then we'd love to hear from you. You can view our latest volunteer opportunities or contact Sue for more information or to express interest in volunteering for us.

The spirit of Making Music Yorkshire & North East is to share a passion for voluntary music. We’re here to help everyone flourish in their music making.
