Our annual subscription fee starts at just £65 per group. We charge 1.5% of the annual income of your group, averaged over a three year period. We ask you to exclude certain extraordinary items from your calculation, such as legacies and bequests, or grants received for a specific restricted purpose.
Insurance is calculated according to the number of members within a performing group, or the amount paid in professional fees for promoting organisations. Cover starts from just £16.96.
Membership entitles you to a range of further cost-saving schemes which could save you much more than the cost of your annual subscription: the insurance package alone offers unbeatable value and we are confident you will not find a comparable offering anywhere else!
Youth group membership subscription offer
For groups whose members are under 21 we operate a discounted membership scheme. Such groups are entitled to a 50% discount on standard subscription rates, which you should calculate when completing your joining form. Each year we will invite you to renew your membership with the same discount applied.
Joining November/December 2011
Please note that during November and December we offer free membership to groups joining Making Music for the calendar year 2012, with insurance pro rated to the nearest month.
