Write us a Birthday Song!       The Big Busk: A celebration of live music and dance
We are inviting applications to our 75th Birthday Song Competition. We would like you to write us a song for unaccompanied voices, lasting no more than 10 minutes, in celebration of singing and the joy and wellbeing that people experience through singing and music making.

Get that composing pencil at the ready! Deadline for application is 30 July 2010.
This summer, community music and dance will be united in three celebratory events in the North East. The Big Busk will bring free performances and workshops by voluntary music and dance groups to public spaces in Ashington, Blyth and Dalton Park on the 24, 25 and 31 July.

For events in your region, you can find Making Music member concerts for sale on the Making Music Wegottickets portal.
