Funding

Making sure your organisation thrives financially is a subject taxing most committees of voluntary music groups. Staying solvent, financing the next concert, raising money for developmental projects - all of these require financial planning, and sometimes you might need to seek external funding support.

Making Music offers advice and support for your challenging financial situations. Contact your Regional Development Officer for a confidential discussion, and pointers to a range of information or funding sources.

Financial assistance

As part of your membership don't forget that you have access to some really useful financial schemes: engage our subsidised young artists for your concerts, or group together with other members to lower the fees of performers in our selected artists scheme. We also offer staging and instrument loans, access to small grants in some of our regions, and from time to time partner with projects such as the BBC Performing Arts Fund's Choral Ambition scheme to enable groups to apply for project funds.
