Making Music is here to help you spend more time making music and less time on administration and paperwork.
What kind of support do we offer?
Most of our 80 members' information sheets are aimed at advising volunteers how to run music organisations. In this valuable resource you will find titles such as How to chair a music group; How to recruit a music director; Notes for Librarians; and a Standard contract for promoters to adapt to suit.
Good governance
It is important that your charity is run effectively and responsibly. We advise on a range of common governance issues, including organisational liabilities and the roles of trustees; public benefit reporting for registered charities; child safeguarding; and licensing.
Advice and information
Even if you don't have a specific question or issue concerning how you run your group, it may benefit you to take a look around the subjects covered in the Advice area of our website, and to further information within our Information sheet library.
