Why do we need abandonment cover?

Abandonment insurance is a useful additional cover to safeguard you against situations where you either have to cancel a concert and can’t recoup costs already paid out, or incur additional costs to avoid cancelling an event due to events beyond your control, for example if your soloist pulls out the day before a concert due to illness.
