Is property belonging to the society insured?

The standard block policy automatically provides cover for items on short term hire or loan to the society. You are able to extend the cover to include items which the society owns. Cover is provided on a new for old basis and as such the sum to be insured should represent the cost of replacing the item with a modern equivalent.
