Our lobbying diary

Lobbying and advocacy are some of the most important things Making Music does for and on behalf of our members. We meet regularly with politicans and are constantly in touch with a number of external organisations informing them of the importance and significance of the voluntary music sector.

On this page you will some of the results of our efforts to promote voluntary music making and to help local and national politicians, the music business as a whole, and any other interested parties to understand what our members get up to. Our main thrust is to get people and organisations to understand the importance of our members’ activities in communities throughout the UK.
