123sing!

On 30 September - 2 October 2011, Classic FM and Making Music teamed up once more to bring you 123sing!, the UK’s biggest celebration of singing. The aim of the event was to make a big noise for The Classic FM Foundation and help provide music therapy for vulnerable children across the UK.

What did it involve?

Across the country, choirs, choruses, and singing groups made their love for singing count by dedicating a performance or open rehearsal to 123sing! Their events were uploaded to a special 123sing! map on the Classic FM website, and donations were collected from members and audiences. Those running the events were able to keep 25% of what they raised, and received promotion for their performances on Classic FM.
