Choir With No Name @ ColdplayThe Choir with No Name’s mission is to provide a safe environment for people who have experienced homelessness or exclusion to enjoy singing and create excellent music. They provide rehearsals, workshops and singing lessons, as well as a hot meal after every rehearsal. The group’s singers and musicians strive to create inspirational performances with each performance being bigger and better than the last.

The Music Nation performance in Birmingham will be a pop concert accompanied by professional musicians, featuring a variety of songs from Radiohead to Stevie Wonder and showcasing the talents and positivity of the group’s members, challenging the traditional 'cap in hand' images of homelessness. It will bring together the group’s London and Birmingham choirs for a joyful celebration of the Olympic spirit. From One Nation (under a groove) to We are the Champions, they plan to get the audience singing along and enjoying themselves immensely!

On Sunday 4 March the group will perform again as part of the Voices Now event at the Roundhouse in London.
