Music Bank
The Music Bank is our evolving resource to help members programme their concerts. Within the bank you will find repertoire information, programme notes and our Music Exchange.

**Please note that The Music Bank is a member resource. Non-members can search and look at the results to see what information is available, but won't be able to click to view the contents of a listing.**
Repertoire information
The Repertoire Service provides critical information on thousands of musical works to help you source and programme music, such as:
- publisher, duration, language and edition details
- vocal and instrumental scoring
- works commissioned through Making Music’s Adopt a Composer scheme
- suitability for performance by young people
Music to hire or lend
Our Music Exchange is a service matching up amateur music groups looking for music to borrow with those that have library holdings.
- Search the Music Exchange to find works you are programming
- Reserve what you need for the dates you need it
- Contact the lending librarian directly to arrange delivery or collection
Our Kirby Collection is an extensive new collection of printed choral music (with orchestral sets) for choirs to use. It is kept at the Surrey Performing Arts Library for the use of choirs in Surrey and the rest of the UK.
Programme notes
We have gathered a vast number of programme notes available for our members to use in concert programmes, providing a rich and growing resource for members.
- Search or browse by composer, title and keyword
- Download the programme note as a text file to be copied and pasted into your programmes.
We have plans to develop our Music Bank over the coming months, and will be adding new features and tools to this resource.
