Making Music AGM
Our AGM will take place in the morning. It will be the usual AGM fare with reports from the board and executive staff, board member election results and a chance for you to ask questions. Anyone associated to Making Music is welcome to attend but only MM Reps can vote.
Making Music 3 year plan consultation
Following the AGM there will be a consultation session and opportunity to talk about our plans for the future.
In 2015 we focussed on stabilising after the change in our funding and took on major projects to deliver a new website and IT system and look at member engagement. As we move to completion on these projects we are turning our focus to the longer term, and a new three year business plan for 2017-19.
As ever, we are interested in what you think. We want to know what’s important to you as music groups and what your priorities are, so we can make sure our activities over the next three years reflect that and support you where you need it.
The session will be split into some structured consultation discussion topics as well as an open session for you to contribute ideas. Participants will be contacted in advance with more details on consultation topics.
Don’t miss your chance to have your say, and help shape the future direction of Making Music.
For those of you not within easy striking distance of London don’t worry – we will be offering consultation sessions at Information and Advice events across the country, and you are also welcome to contact us to request to be involved in the consultation.
Dorothy and Philip Green Award for Young Concert Artists (AYCA) presentation concert
We will finish with the annual presentation concert by this year’s AYCA winners. This concert is always enjoyable and a brilliant chance to see some of our best young musical talent perform live. Remember that all the winners are available to Making Music members to book at subsidised prices - so why not come along for a preview and think about who you might want to work with.
Cost & Refreshments
It is free to attend all three of the sessions and tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day.
This year lunch is also free but please do email info@makingmusic.org.uk to book and let us know of any dietary requirements.
