Djanogly Community Orchestra

Djanogly Community Orchestra is a friendly amateur symphonic orchestra based in Nottingham for more than 20 years. We perform three concerts per year and rehearse on Monday evenings from September through July at Djanogly City Academy, Sherwood Rise, Nottingham Road, Nottingham NG7 7AR.

Our music is varied including pieces for full orchestra (often from the romantic period); some for a reduced orchestra (eg strings-and-woodwind); and works involving a local choir, or concertos (often using a local young musician).

Over the years we have performed many concertos with members of the talented Nottingham-based Kanneh-Mason family, including cellist Sheku who won the 2016 BBC Young Musician of the Year competition.
