The Phoenix Choir of Crawley

Phoenix Choir of Crawley is a mixed voice group who sing a varied repertoire. We perform three or four concerts a year using professional instrumentalists and soloists. We perform a wide range of music, from the great choral classics to folk songs, spirituals, songs from musicals and Christmas repertoire. Rehearsals are held in Crawley on Thursday evenings, led by our enthusiastic young music director, George Salmon. Concerts performed with professional soloists and instrumentalist since the formation of the choir have been have included : Mozart Requiem (March 2019) Carmina Burana & Rio Grande (June 2018), Dream of Gerontius (March 2018), Eternal Light (Goodall) & Faure's Requiem (Nov 2017), Opera Choruses & lighter repertoire (July2017), Durufle Requiem & Tippet Spirituals (March 2017), Haydn's The Creation (Nov 2016).
