Shropshire Chamber Orchestra

The Shropshire Chamber Orchestra is a group of talented musicians who come together to perform music mainly from the Classical symphonic repertoire. As well as exploring and rehearsing music to perform to an exceptional standard, we also are linked to The Team Cleo Fund, which, raises money for The Brain Tumour Charity. The orchestra presented its first full concert in October 2009 at Holy Trinity, Much Wenlock. The name reflects our location. We meet twice a year, in April and October, when we perform at different venues on the Saturday evenings, but always return to Shrewsbury on Sunday afternoons, where we also serve afternoon tea.
