Wessex Male Choir

Wessex Male Choir was founded in September 2001, and currently has around 50 members.

The choir has built a reputation for its professionalism and entertaining repertoire, and is in great demand for concert engagements.

WMC also has a proud tradition of charity support, both nationally and in the Swindon area.

Wessex Male Choir occasionally enters competitions. We were awarded first position in the Male Choir competition at Llangollen International Eisteddfod in July 2011, beating choirs from Wales, England, and the USA. Wessex also won the coveted Gold Cup at the Cheltenham Festival 2016 for best choir in all competitions (also won in 2008 and 2013).
