Gareth Malone is looking for 'Britain's best amateur choir'

Could you be the UK’s best, undiscovered singing group?  Whether you’re a gospel group with gusto, a band of beatbox bravados or a pitch perfect pop troupe, Gareth Malone wants to hear from you.

Following on from the hugely popular The Naked Choir, Gareth Malone (of BBC series Sing While You Work and The Choir: Military Wives), is searching once more for unique and exceptional talents. Last year, the focus was on the skill of groups singing modern a cappella; this year they want to open the series up to groups who represent the full range of musical styles and genres.

Over the course of the series, groups will be allocated contact time with Malone, who will offer expert guidance, advice and encouragement. To round off the series, the groups will showcase what they’ve learned in front of a panel of musical experts. Impress this panel and you could see your group rewarded with the honorary title of Britain's best amateur choir.
