Music Education Expo is back: 25 and 26 February 2016

The only music expo returns in a bigger venue in 2016 but featuring the same magic ingredients of exhibitors, seminars, networking and performances

Music Education Expo burst onto the scene in 2012 and quickly established itself as the go-to event of the year. It returns on 25 and 26 February 2016 in a bigger venue, at Olympia in London.

Making Music will be there and is looking forward to saying hello to many members over the two days – it is always great to be able to put faces to names, so do come and say hello and use this opportunity to quiz the membership team on any issues affecting your group.

The great list of exhibitors includes touring companies, music publishers, concert clothes, equipment, instruments, the Federation of Music Festivals and other organisations, course providers such as Sing For Pleasure, and more.

And you can attend talks and seminars— there’s a politician to quiz about music education; this year’s ‘fireside chats’ include one with Julian Lloyd Webber; you can form an ‘Instant Orchestra’ or play the ‘Big Piano’. Why not try a Spoons Workshop? Or get some tips for developing as a conductor. Find out how to engage with a music education hub, or what the ‘Seven Steps to Sightreading Success’ might be (for me, that one).

It is aimed at music educators, but there is so much on offer for amateur musicians and groups, too, and registration is free. You can book your place here

We at Making Music hope to see you there and will have some special offers, and pencils for you to take away…
