Planning a choral fundraising concert?

Find out how you can get Selected Artists Apollo5 at a subsidised rate.

As part of the VCM Choral Music Foundation's outreach programme for the 2016/17 season, British vocal ensemble Apollo5 is available to choral community groups for subsidised bookings for fundraising concerts.

The Foundation was established 10 years ago with the aim of inspiring people of all ages and abilities to use their voice and be creative. VCM has its home at The Gresham Centre, created in partnership with the Diocese of London as a home for vocal excellence in the City of London.  Apollo5’s sister ensemble is Voces8, the internationally renowned vocal group.

Funding has been attained by VCM to offer Apollo5 for 30 subsidised concerts across the 2016/17 season. These subsidised concerts are being offered to choral organisations (choirs, societies, clubs) wishing to put on fundraising events.

VCM asks interested organisations to make a £600 contribution towards the cost of having Apollo5 to perform a fundraising concert. VCM will then use its funding to cover the rest of the group’s performing fees. The organisation will be asked to promote and run the concert, and will keep all of the profits. As well as offering an opportunity to fundraise, VCM also hopes that hosting a professional vocal ensemble in concert will be an enriching experience for the community.
