Everyone loves a good film music concert, and Trinity Concert Band’s “Film Music Gala” promises to delight fans of the world’s greatest scores! Some of the most memorable music of the 20th Century was written for the silver screen; composers like Hans Zimmer, Lalo Schifrin, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Nigel Hess and the inimitable John Williams are all recipients of major awards for their film scores and are rightly recognised for their genius. TCB will pay homage to these great writers on 29th September in Reading University’s beautiful Great Hall, bringing you a programme of film music spanning 65 years, from ‘Gone with the Wind’ to ‘The Phantom of the Opera’. On this journey TCB will visit music from Exodus, Star Wars, Mission Impossible, the Spaghetti Westerns, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Harry Potter and many more!
