We are joined for the performance by the wonderful baroque orchestra Canzona and a team of professional soloists. March 2018 will see a performance of Handel's Messiah, conducted by our Festival Conductor, Jonathan Willcocks.
All singers are welcome, whether as a member of one of the Festival choirs or independently! Weekly rehearsals are held from January to March at the United Reformed Church Hall in Dorking on Friday evenings or Sunday afternoons, and are led by our Chorus Master, Ben Costello.
The concert itself will a powerful orchestration of the popular Messiah by over 200 singers, a professional orchestra and soloists. The output in sound, quality and passion always leaves the audience wanting more. Handels' Messiah is one of the most love classical piece of all times enjoyed by both music lovers and non.
