M4P runs a week-long Music Summer School in the beautiful North Yorkshire Dales. During the week, we hold over 25 different music courses per day. It is for the student to decide which courses he/she would like to enjoy for the week.
Courses for our 2019 school are Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Orchestra, Choir, Brass 'n Sax, Brass Workshop, Folk, Ukulele, 2-3 levels of Jazz depending on enrolments, World Music, Contemporary Voice, Big Band, Blues, 1st Steps to Improvisation, Classical Composition, Other types of Composition, Clarinet Choir, Saxophone Choir, Chamber Winds and Ensembles, Chamber Strings, String Orchestra, Solo Singing, Opera/Musical Theatre, Singing for the Terrified, Percussion Ensemble, Make and play your own instrument Orchestra, Rhythm Orchestra and Dalcroze Eurythmics.
Students are also encouraged to bring their own music for playing - with or without accompaniment. There are always others wanting to make music as a group outside of classes.
We pride ourselves that we are able to provide an atmosphere of encouragement and joy in music making with professional tutors and accompanists available for our students.
