Our summer concert in Chesterfield's famous 'Crooked Spire' Church, with excellent acoustics and magnificent organ, which will be played by our friend and Vice President, Jonathan Scott. Music, most of it very well known, will be an eclectic mix of John Rutter anthems, Great Oratorio Choruses and European Sacred Music to enjoy on a warm summer evening. For example: John Rutter 'For the beauty of the earth', 'Look at the World', 'For the beauty of the earth', Franck 'Panis Angelicus', Handel 'Hallelujah Chorus', Mendelsohn 'He watching over Israel' and many more.
Do join us for a wonderful evening's music making. Perhaps visit our ancient market town in the afternoon and eat in one of our many and varied restaurants before or after the concert. Visits to the church and a guided trip up the spire are available during the day.
