Arts audience

Golsoncott Foundation

Arts organisations across the UK can apply for grants of up to £3,000 to deliver projects that demonstrate and deliver excellence in the arts.

The funding is made available by the Golsoncott Foundation, an arts-funding trust whose objective is to promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public in the arts, particularly the fine arts and music.

Priority is given to applications from arts organisations whose raison d’être is the art form itself, and its perfection or excellence in performance.

Gatwick Airport Community Trust (South East of England)

The Gatwick Airport Community Trust has re-opened for applications. The Trust funds projects that are targeted towards the development of young people, the arts, sporting facilities, environmental improvement and conservation, improvements to community facilities, volunteering, the elderly and the disabled.

Grants of between £1,000 and  £5,000 are available to a wide range of organisations including charities, schools, and sports clubs.

We welcome applications from those who work with all types of musical types and genres. We are keen to support projects that bring the full spectrum of contemporary popular music genres to live audiences. This includes genres like:

D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust

The D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust funds United Kingdom Registered Charities operating in the UK in the fields of the advancement of the arts, health and medical welfare and environmental protection or improvement.

The Trustees will consider applications for core costs or projects and are very conscious of the work involved in applying for a grant and encourage charities to consider whether their work aligns with the Trust’s priorities for the next three years before submitting an application.

Francis Routh Trust

The charity seeks to promote the works of British composers by supporting the performance of compositions that have been undeservedly neglected.

By providing grants, the charity focuses on the performance of new works and the subsequent performance of underperformed works, particularly chamber music, by British composers, including Francis Routh.

The charity supports a range of costs, normally up to £1,000, to facilitate the performance of deserving works by a composer, either living or dead, born in or resident in the UK. These can include:
