Timothy Ridout is one of the most sought-after violists of his generation. Selected as a BBC New Generation Artist in 2018, and 1st Prize Winner of the Lionel Tertis and Cecil Aronowicz Competitions, he undertakes concerto engagements throughout Europe and further afield. He is equally in demand as a recitalist and chamber musician. He programmes Schubert’s well-loved Arpeggione Sonata alongside little-known gems from the viola repertoire, which are sure to surprise and delight.

The programme is:

SCHUBERT: Sonata in A minor, D821, Arpeggione

REBECCA CLARKE: Selected works for viola

BLOCH: Suite for viola and piano
