This is our annual Christmas Concert, featuring a wide selection of seasonal music followed by an equally seasonal glass of wine or juice and some nibbles. The choir will be singing five rousing choruses from Handel's Messiah, carols by Bob Chilcott, and a new and beautiful piece "This Light of Reason" by Nick O' Neill, celebrating the life of Jo Cox the MP who died so sadly at the hands of a right wing extremist. No Chandos Christmas Concert is complete without some Christmas Cheese - and we will deliver in that department too! You, the audience, will be helping us to sing some traditional carols, so make sure you are in good voice. You will have the chance at the end to chat over the wine and nibbles - and there will be a collection for our partner charity this year, the Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation, which does such fantastic work with young people to inform them of the dangers of drug use.
