"Made in America"

This lively concert will celebrate the centenary of Leonard Bernstein's birth with performances of Chichester Psalms and a medley of songs from West Side Story. The programme also showcases works by other fantastic American composers including "Summer time" by Gershwin, Begin the Beguine by Cole Porter, and the hauntingly beautiful "A Boy and a Girl" by Eric Whitacre. The choir will be joined by soprano Emily Dickens, harpist Vicky Lester, percussionist Joby Burgess and pianist Willian Vann, and will be conducted by Jonathan Williams.
